This Privacy Policy explains how Rizzello Software Systems FZCO ("we", "our", or "us"), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Name, email address, profile photo, and phone number when you create an account.
Pet Information: Your pet's name, breed, age, photos, and health-related details you choose to share.
Location Data: With your consent, we collect your device's location to provide walking routes, dog-friendly venue maps, and nearby services.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
Personalise your experience, including showing relevant dog-friendly locations and services.
Process bookings for daycare and other pet services.
Communicate with you about updates, promotions, and support.
Ensure the safety and security of our platform.
Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:

Service Providers: Trusted third parties who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing).
Pet Service Providers: When you book a service, relevant information is shared with the provider to fulfil your booking.
Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

5. Analytics and Crash Reporting

To understand how the app is used and to find faults in it, we use two providers. Neither is used for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

PostHog (hosted in the European Union) records which screens you open, and each step of a booking: creating an account and the role you chose, adding a dog, opening the walker list and how many walkers it showed you, opening a walker's profile, starting a booking, sending the request, and paying — including the amount. The daycare side is recorded the same way. These are linked to your account identifier so we can see where people stop. Your name, email address and phone number are not sent to PostHog.
Session recordings. PostHog also records the shape of the screen and where you tap. Before anything leaves your device, everything you enter and everything drawn from your account is blacked out — names, addresses, photos, messages, your dog's details. What stays readable is only text built into the app itself: headings, step numbers, button labels and error messages. A recording therefore shows which screen you were on and where you got stuck, not what you wrote or read.
Google Firebase Crashlytics receives a report when the app crashes: the point in the code where it failed, the device model and the operating system version. It does not receive the contents of your account.

You can switch this off. Under Profile → Settings there is a toggle for analytics; with it off, nothing described in this section is sent, and the app works exactly as before.

We keep this data only as long as it is useful for improving the app, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time using the contact details below.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
Request data portability.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
